Q1.Harish sold a bicycle at 8% gain . Had it been sold for Rs 375 more , the gain would have been 14% . Find the cost price of the bicycle.

Q3.On reducing the value of a chair 6% it becomes Rs 658 . Find the original value of the chair.

Q4.Out of her total monthly salary. Tanvy spends 30% on house rent and 60% of the rest on household expenditure. If she saves Rs 10500 , what is her total monthly salary?

Q5.A’s income is 60% more than that of B . By what percent is B’s income less than  A’s?

Q6.Amit earns Rs 32000 per month . He spends  of his income of food :of the remainder on house rent and  of the remainder on the education of children. How much is still left with him ?

Q7.Mr. Ajay bought 35.5 litres of refined oil for Rs 3367.50 . Find its cost per litre

Q10.The age of Amit and Sumit are in the ratio 7:5 . Ten year hence, the ratio of their ages will be 9:7 . Find their present ages.
