Q 4 Height of a  place A is 1800m above sea level , Another place B is 700 m below sea level.What is the difference between the levels of these two places. ( Q 128)

Ans:- Distance of place A above sea level = 1800 m

Distance of place B below sea level = 700 m

Difference between the levels = 1800 – ( - 700)

Q 5 A green grocer had a profit of Rs.47 on Monday, a loss of Rs.12 on Tuesday and loss of Rs. 8 on Wednesday . Find his net profit or loss in 3 days. (Q131)

Ans:- Profit on Monday = Rs. 47

Loss on Tuesday =Rs -12

Loss on Wednesday = Rs.  -8

Total loss =  -12 + (-8)
