 Rational number are those numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q , where q is not equal to 0.

i)                    ¼ +2/6

ii)                   2/6-5/7

iii)                 2/9 x 5/11

iv)                 Divide 6/14 by 9/12 

TYPE 8 Additive inverse of rational number

Additive inverse of x /y is – x/y

Q. Find the additive inverse of 4/11

Ans :- The additive inverse of 4/11 is -4/11
